Plans, limits, and storage
What your plan limits count, and what happens when you reach one.
Every plan sets how much each workspace and site may use. Your account page shows the limits for your workspaces.
What can be limited
| Limit | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Sites | Websites in the workspace, including the first one |
| Users | Accounts that can use a website |
| Content | Pages, posts, and other entries, in any status |
| Media | Files and bytes in the media library |
| Storage | Total storage, including media, image sizes, private files, and trash |
| Plugins | Installed plugins |
| Custom domains | Domains connected to a website. A www. address added with its domain does not count |
When you reach a limit
- The next thing you try to add is refused, with a message that says which limit was reached.
- Nothing you already have is removed. If a limit is lowered, existing items stay; only new ones are refused.
- Files in the trash still count toward storage until the trash is emptied.
Some features, such as custom domains, can also be switched on or off by plan. When a feature is off for your site, its menu item is hidden in the admin.
